Oh I see
Yes
Possibly. I hadn't thought of that
Possibly
I am getting more into what I call (privately?) portraiture - that
Browningesque (?) approach where the speaker discloses themself
I think I am doing that
I have a big book of portraits and have been editing them recently though
this bash of editing started after Next Door was finished i.e. the initial
writing. I *was presenting them here and writing anything up to 20 ahead;
now I am just writing my way through and not writing new ones
So I think the *way that I am writing sent me back to the portraits. I
hadn't thought of that
I am grateful to you. It will inform me when I come to order them again.
At the moment I am just trying to get through the individual revision of
next door (and I'll read the last ones at the next wf workshop, by which
time I should be done with it here)
Meanwhile I keep hearing about _bp_ and have been trying to think of a bp
joke - as in bpNichol, I mean
but nothing I hear sounds anything but an attack on him which is not what
I want
but I can't get it out of my head that there's a poetry joke there which I
can't see / hear
best
