The kit insert makes reference to the use of K-EDTA-plasma stating, do not use plasma prepared with other anticoagulatants. We currently use lithium heparin as an anticoagulant and this change will increase the amount of blood we need to collect from neonates. Has anybody looked at the use of lithium heparin with this assay? Is it a problem? Thank you for your help.
