West Churchman claim that the chinese "Book of Changes, I Ching" is the earliest writing on social constructivism (or at least the pragmatist version). The classic edition apparently is from c50 BC -AD 10, but the origin may go even longer back. (But I have not read I Ching or Al-Farabi)

Hello,
I've come across a pointer that Al-Farabi (872-951 AD) was the originator of
social constructivism and social constructionism (as well as various
scientific and mathematical approaches that led to the kind of modern
science we use in Design).
Does anyone have any more information on this?
Best wishes,
Terry
