Senior Lecturer in Applied Statistics (2 Posts)
Salary £30747 to £52347 pa - Grade 7/8/9
We are seeking to appoint two statisticians to the Centre for Health & Environmental Statistics to contribute to research and teaching in Applied Statistics. The Centre has a research program in the areas of risk assessment and screening, clinical trials methodology and genetic and environmental statistics. Our work in these areas is funded largely from external research grants and contracts.
You would be encouraged and supported to secure external income and develop your career as well as contributing to the Research Excellence Framework submission. You would also be expected to contribute to undergraduate teaching in Applied Statistics and continuing the professional development course for health professionals.
This is a full-time post working 37 hours per week on a fixed-term basis for three years in the first instance with the possibility of extension, subject to funding.
