medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Dear Marjorie,
I would say that the norm was simply to write one type of text (model
sermon collection, distinctiones collection, exempla collection or
whatever), books that combine these elements are much more rare. I can
only think two other examples besides Guy d'Evreaux, namely those of
Humbert de Romans and Guibert de Tournai.
