Not an april fools joke, just a simple request (its been done before,
many times, without causing any furore).
I apologise that I did not outline the context behind this request.
It is not for a YouTube clip! Rather, it is for a small film that I am
making as part of a new theatre work exploring the notion of fear in
the contemporary world. The theatre work is called Urchin and will
premiere in Melbourne in May 2010. The film piece featuring scenes of
cowboys shouting 'yee ha' forms part of a dreamscape experienced by
one of the characters as he retreats into a series of childhood
memories and other nostalgic moments.
Although obviously not intended to generate any philosophical musing,
this request was made due to the convenience of a list such as this,
that pools together film scholars and buffs from around the world. I
am sorry for any offense caused, but surely the sharing of knowledge
also counts as a legitimate use of an internet forum such as this?
Cheers, Rhian
