Well dear MCG-ers I hope you won't mind casting your eye over this.
You've probably heard about the Rewired Culture event, 27th March 2010 - it's been mentioned on these boards before - Hiya Bridget, Mia et al! - and in the twitter-sphere. We're hoping for some interesting mashups and apps.
More info here http://www.culture.gov.uk/working_with_us/6644.aspx
I'm on a hunt for datasets we can point developers to. As the event is only in the morning we will be advertising these datasets up to 2 weeks in advance.
We will be providing a dataset for the Government Art Collection, what I'm wondering is whether you have any we can link to or host in our dedicated online cloud/space.
Culture24 and British Museum collection online are on the list - can you help with anymore? The datasets can be any usable format - spreadsheets, text files, shapefiles, API...and this is where I reach the limit of my knowledge but we do have technical expertise on hand!
Please do contact me off list if you prefer
Best wishes
Ann

Thanks for the opinions so far - I'd like to give people who don't read the
list until the evening a chance to respond too, but at the moment it looks
positive.
cheers, Mia
