Dear Zooarchers,
Following David's email I thought it might be useful to clarify once again what
is our policy regarding pdf requests. People are very welcome to send email
requests of articles to the list. It is perfectly fine and such requests are
not all "frowned upon". However, what we are trying to stop is that the
possibility that a dozen or so emails saying 'I want that too' follow the
initial request. These can be irritating and are probably not the best use
either of Zooarch or of people's inbox space. Possible solutions to this issue
include sending requests to to the original person who requested the article
(of the kind "if you manage to get hold of it could you please forward it to
me?") and/or posting the article on either BoneCommons or Zoobook once this has
become available (and making sure it does not breach anybody's copyright).
Cheers,
Umberto
