Subject: [PSCI-COM] radio experience
Dear all
As a science communication student I value the advice and comments in all
the emails
and correspondence from Psci-Com members. I would like to request some
advice,
information and recommendations about gaining more experience in radio. Any
suggestions for organisations or individuals I could contact would be very
useful.
I am keen to develop my skills in presenting, production and editing for
radio as next
academic year I will be undertaking a final year project for my science
communication
degree. I will be making a short science documentary programme for
assessment - topic
yet to be decided.
I am willing to volunteer over the summer to help any member involved in
radio, both
past and present - I could assist in any research or production tasks as
needed. Perhaps a
member would permit me to work shadow them for a few days or simply arrange
to
meet to offer me some advice in person - it would be much appreciated.
Please feel free to contact me both on or off list
([log in to unmask]) and if
anyone would like to find out more about my experience before offering me a
volunteer
position, I can send my CV.
Many thanks
Rachel
