Dear All,
I'm writing from Wellcome Collection to tell you about a symposium that is taking place on 26 and 27 of February. Tickets for the two days plus, wine, refreshments and a delicious lunch, cost just £30 or £20 for concessions.
This two-day symposium, 'China: Birth and belonging', starts with an evening of performance curated by the Chinese Arts Centre and is followed by a day of discussion and learning. Academics and experts will explore the complex nature of Chinese identity, sessions include:
- Ancient ideas of the body
- The history of Qi
- Stem cell research and ethics
- One-child policy
and more - as well as plenty of time for audience questions.
For more information and to book tickets, visit: www.wellcomecollection.org/china.
Many thanks
Rosie
