Dear Doris and all,
I am working on my doctoral thesis related to design process, design
thinking and design knowledge
may I suggest also some fundational texts?
ASIMOW, Morris
Introduction to Design
Prentice-Hall. Englewood, Cliffs, N.J. /c.1962
JONES, John Christopher
Design Methods: seeds of human futures
John Wiley & Sons New York and Chichester, 1970
John Wiley & Sons Ltd., 1992
also I think, in the very origin of Design Theory there is a
reflection about what are we doing, how and why we are doing Design,
so when we discuss about Design Theory it is indispensable to go to a
philosophical reflection like the one of José Ortega y Gasset in "A
meditation on technique" 1939, and therefore the one of Martin
Heidegger in "The Question Concerning Technology", 1954.
sincerely
