Hi,
We put the papers in staff pigeon holes after the exam when they have
been returned to the exam office secure storage area. This may be same
day or days after. We don't allow any tutors to 'collect' them from the
exam room even after the examination has finished.
Once had a student who mistakenly annotated the graph in the question
paper instead of copying it into his answer book. A tutor collected a
copy of the paper immediately after the exam and from the exam room.
Sod's law it was the one the student had annotated, and when the student
came back to the exam room to tell us we couldn't find it. Since then we
have not allowed any tutors to see or take any papers from exam rooms.
I must say it is always a pleasure telling tutors I will keep them in
the room for an hour if they look at a paper at the start, it was the
best thing the exam boards ever did when they added this rule.

Subject: Tutors wanting Exam Papers after the exam
Hiya
We are having a debate in our college, as we have recently merged and
there is different practice on both sides.
After an exam the tutors always want any spare copies of the exam paper
- when are they allowed access to them?
Some people seem to think its next working day, others think its as soon
as the exam has finished
Can anyone confirm as i'm struggling to see a written guideline about it
Cheers
