Senior Clinical Biochemist
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic clinical biochemist to join
our analytical and interpretative biochemistry and endocrinology service.
Preference will be given to those who also have postgraduate qualifications
and are committed to progressing to FRCPath. Specialist expertise in the
development of molecular diagnostics is desirable.

Salary scale €51,8339 - €69,972
The Mater Misericordiae University Hospital is a 600 bed multidisciplinary
academic teaching hospital located in central Dublin. It is the national
tertiary referral centre for the management of spinal injuries and
cardiothoracic surgery, including heart and lung transplantation. It is a
designated cancer centre and has regional gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary,
neurology and dermatology services.
The Clinical Biochemistry and Diagnostic Endocrinology Laboratory is fully
CPA accredited and provides a comprehensive service for the Mater
Misericordiae University Hospital and to primary care. The hospital is
currently undergoing expansion and has been designated as the site for
co-located maternity services and for the new national paediatric hospital.
