I am awaiting delivery of Bilirubin cartridges and we will be evaluating performance by simultaneous samples on the IL Gem 4000 blood gas analyser and on serum sent to the lab and run on Vitros Fusion 5.1. I will also be correlating against our curent POCT method using the Pfaff Bilimeter 3.I will be happy to share findings when complete.

Subject: validation of bilirubin on a blood gas analyser
Dear Mailbase
Has anyone validated bilirubin on a blood gas analyser in NNU, in particular the
GEM 4000? What would be the best way forward on this?
Best wishes
Sandy
