Please, find enclosed a message from Pab Crabtree, ICAZ Treasurer:
The 2010 ICAZ meeting will take place in Paris this August. The organizers have
received a large number of requests for financial assistance. As the organizers
indicated in the second circular, an essential criterion for being considered
for financial help is being a member in good standing of ICAZ,
though this cannot be taken as a guarantee that your application will be
successful. If you have applied for financial assistance, and you are not
already a member, we would therefore urge you to join ICAZ immediately. The
cost is only 20 US dollars per year for working professionals, and 10 dollars
for students, retirees, and the unwaged. Reduced rates (half price
dues) are available for countries other than Australia, Canada, European Union
countries, Japan, Iceland, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, and USA. If can
register on line at http://www.alexandriaarchive.org/icaz/membership_join.html.
Downloadable registration forms are available there for registration by mail.
You can pay by check in US dollars or the equivalent in sterling or euro. You
can also pay by Paypal. If you need assistance, please contact Pam Crabtree,
ICAZ Treasurer, at [log in to unmask] This issue is time sensitive, as funding
decisions will be made shortly. Pam Crabtree
