We had something similar twice. The first time (10 years ago!) had
something to do with our Z39.50 server. The second time a few years ago
was due to an inexplicable xftp process according to the helpdesk.
On both occasions we had to rely on the helpdesk to sort the problem out
but you need patience. Good luck.
