medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
I'd certainly like to see, or at least have citations to, this work. I
have some interest in inquisitorial manuals and it would be interesting
to compare the questioning tactics. I suppose they'd be quite
different: inquisitors already knew (or at least thought they knew) the
factual answers before they began the process, but I imagine that those
interrogating miracle reports would be closer to testing an open hypothesis.
