Hello
I have identified some fifty bear bones in a swiss dwelling site (Concise), dating from middle neolithic (37th century).
I have observed cut marks on some of them, in particulary on two humeri (dismemberment and filleting, percussion) and on a radius of a young specimen (filleting and percussion). Some strokes are also clearly perceptible on vertebrae (axis, thoracics and lumbar), which I associate with dismembering and recuperation of meat.
It will be published next year but I can send to you some pictures If you are interested.
best regards
patricia
