Hi Karen
I would say that using an Open Source solution like Joomla or Drupal is
most advantageous, and doesn't lock you in to inflexible, proprietary
and unnecessarily expensive licenses from vendors.
Though I would say Joomla is a bit easier to use than Drupal, both have
their strengths and weaknesses. The new Joomla 1.6 if you can wait til
it's released will have the ACL control and unlimited categories.
Additionally, Joomla can be integrated with an OAI repository or Digital
Asset Management System like DSpace to create online exhibitions via a
suite of modules and components called J-CAR, Joomla Collections,
Archives and Repositories.

Subject: CMS recommendations
Hi
Can anyone recommend a good content management system that they've
bought in? A good experience with the supplier is obviously important as
well as the quality of the system itself.
Thanks
