medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
My Dear Fellows,
A new book has been released (or is about to) "The Liturgy in Medieval England":
Since this is supposed to be a list for "Scholarly discussions" would I ask you on what basis you can claim in advance that the announced book is a new "Authoritative source" - do you have it yourself?
You have apparently not even kept in in your own hands, or please correct me if it is wrong.
Is it too much to ask you to furnish some basic scholarly evidence that can substantiate the use of
adjectives like "major" and "authoritative"? - if so would I consider to order it on Amazon.com
Best regards
Erik Drigsdahl

The book's title is The Liturgy in Medieval England: a History, and it is being offered with a 20% discount until the end of January 2010.
