Dear All,
I have a large bovid astragalus from a Early/Middle Iron Age deposit from a
site in Kent. Its size is OK for aurochs, a GL of 86.2mm and Bd 57.8mm, but
before I go any further I'd like to confirm whether it looks like an aurochs
astragalus. So does anyone know of a reference explaining the differences
between domestic and wild cattle astragali?
Thanks
Kevin
