Should not Radstats be making a response to this invitation, including examples of documents produced by members of Radstats?

Subject: Making the Case for the Social Sciences
Dear Colleagues
Making the case for the social sciences
We should like to gather short pieces from member learned societies that we can use to form the basis of a series of briefing documents. These documents will outline how social science benefits society. They will be distributed to a number of external audiences and be accompanied by appropriate publicity. It seems to us to be important to make the case again for the social sciences at this time.
Please could you let us know in a short paragraph some examples of work carried out by members of your association and how it impacts, or has impacted, society. Some specific illustrations or examples would be ideal. We shall contact you again individually about any material we should like to use and ensure that it is specifically and appropriately referenced to relevant names, institutions and associations.
This project is vitally important to all our missions and we would be most grateful if you were able to reply within a month. If you ask members to send material directly to us, please could you ask them to note to which learned society they are affiliated.
Would you please email your responses to:
Mrs Madeleine Barrows, Communications Officer at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>
Thank you
Yours sincerely
