Dear colleagues,
Thank you all for having provided opinions. Second analysis using a
different platform (Beckman Coulter as compared to Siemens) resolved the
issue. This time TSH, fT3, and fT4 normal. Conclusion: Unidentified
interference, probably heterophilic antibody.
Coincidentally, a similar case of PSA/fPSA just happened ...
Would any of you please suggest commercially available blocking tubes
based on positive experience ?
