I'm sure you have the 'right' reasons in mind as a background to your
enquiry - but I'm with Edward on this. I've just been looking into ways we
can rename our image files on Disability Arts Online so that they have more
searchable, keyworded filenames, so we pull in Google Image search more, not
less.

I can't say I have - and I have no reason to! Looking at statistics for
various sites it's amazing how many people end up on them via Google Image
search!
