I think this list reflects the "meaning of life"

Interesting - these are excellent (and sobering) thoughts. One source of
thinking on this is Eileen Gambrill's book 'critical thinking in clinical
practice' (Wiley 1995) where she attempts to bring research on cognitive
biases ('fallacies') to bear on EB decision making. Perhaps this could
stimulate a new area of discussion and enquiry with much potential benefit for
practice. Or maybe people will let us know of all the work going on in this
area. I hope Eileen will join in.
