Ciao Janos,
Everything is going fine.
Look at www.euroconference2009.ethz.ch
Please, register (in any case). For the payments there is time until we
have the final budget (so we know how much we can give for the invited
speakers).
Even if the deadline for the abstract is end of July, I suggest you to
send it as soon as possible, so we can use it to keep the session
'interesting'.

Dear Colleagues,
Please find attached to this email the initial announcement concerning
the upcoming 8th Euro-Conference of "Rock Physics and Geomechanics",
to be held in Ascona (CH), from Sept. 13th to Sept. 19th 2009.
As usual for Euroconferences, the conference will feature a school
format with thematic sessions that will include keynote lectures and
meeting style presentations. Poster sessions will be organized, along
with very brief overviews from contributors. A special attention will
be drawn in order to help attendance of young scientists and PhD
students by waving their conference fees and allowing a maximum number
of travel grants. Time will be allocated to open and/or panel
discussions. Half or full day will be devoted to a guided excursion.
Please note that we should receive your expression of interest by
March 31st. Registration and abstract submission deadline will happen
on June 15th. A website with additional information will shortly be
posted. Please forgive us for multiple postings and do not hesitate to
circulate this preliminary announcement to your colleagues,
Looking forward seeing you in Switzerland,
