The answer is yes it is you :)
It is an interesting problem that ypu bring which has serious
implications the way I see it is theproblem with talking to someone
else is we assume that they are the same as us and we have a life long
experience showing us the reverse is true even for close relatives and
friends. I know people who always press both the up and down buttons
of the elevators because they believe this results in getting the
elevator to go in the direction they want it to go in faster. Their
logic is correct if their premis is correct but that is not the way
elevators are usually programed.
The nurses logic is completely correct. The problem is the BG
analysers design and the instructions for use. The assumption that all
professions function on a similar system of logic is the same as
assuming all languages have the same structure. The problem is ours to
fix with the help of the nurses.
