May I bring your attention to a range of new research studentships, at
masters and PhD levels, that have become available in the UK. These
are both reputable institutions with established research communities
and doctoral training programmes.
Art and Design Research Institute, Middlesex University, London
A recent call comprises 30 PhD studentships, including a number across
art and design. These may interest students who especially wish to
work across disciplines including art, design, philosophy, and
education, as well as other schools of the university. One studentship
is reserved for a project with the Museum of Domestic Architecture
working on the museum's archives. Information about the scheme, and
lists of potential research interests and expertise, may be seen here:

a specified scheme, though individual applications from all students
