You are right that I have missed your point. I am not yet seeing its
relevance to the affect of complex artefacts and my assertion, the only
one I've made really, that it is inevitably subject to context. However
your contributions have helped me to be more precise about that.
On the other hand the sight of you charging towards me with a hefty
sheaf of citations evinces a purely visceral response. To quite David
Bromberg, "It stops you cold...turns your knees to water and your brain
to jelly, your toes to cupcakes..."
