Researcher workshop: ‘What is it you do exactly? On being an scientist,
humanist and/or activist in contemporary anthropological research’
This workshop will explore the subjective position of the researcher in
anthropology and social sciences, and in the arts. Following Miguel’s talk, we
will examine our individual reactions to a variety of texts, and we will discuss
where and how this may enter our own research. This workshop is primarily
aimed at postgraduate students, and more established academics will also be
warmly welcomed.
