Hi dear all,
I couldn't agree more with John's remark below. Life is too precious to
waste with silly and often unneccesary frictions, in particular between
all these earth scientists that love so much this beautiful planet. I
guess realizing this comes with age (oh my God)...
Reinoud Vissers
Dear friends,
I still cannot get used to the death of Martin Casey or indeed the many
geological friends who have died in the last few years (Shackleton, Wood,
Sturt, Hancock, Stoneley, Larminie, Johnson, to name but a few). Their
contributions and memory lives on. Perhaps it suggests that we should all
go out of our way to be generous and kind to each other while we are still
alive.
Best wishes,
John
