Hi all,
I only mentioned 'La Notte' because it was one of the films mentioned.
Surely it is not a matter of what turns you on, or your opinion but on specific terms of analysis. I find that if I really enjoy a
film the first question is why do I like this film more than another, this involves me in analysis, some form of discrimination.
Marx, Freud these are usually the modes of my own analysis but their work doesn't determine the analysis only helps with my
critical thinking. If all this is just a matter of opinion and taste then why bother with pedagogy.
peace
