The research unit in Vienna is Boehringer Ingelheim´s dedicated Drug
Discovery Center for innovative cancer therapies. We are currently looking
for a highly motivated PhD-level scientist to contribute to the biophysical
characterization of protein-small molecule interactions in our Department of
Medicinal Chemistry.
Your responsibilities:
- l Work in interdisciplinary teams and actively contribute to drug discovery
projects at all stages
- l Implement and perform surface plasmon resonance measurements of
target-small molecule interactions
- Interpret and communicate kinetic and/or thermodynamic data
- Evaluate and implement new biophysical methods
Your qualifications:
- Extensive experience with SPR
- Academic degree in a life sciences related subject
- Sound understanding of enzyme-inhibitor interactions, and
interpretation of SPR data
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Fluent English as a working language
