I feel that this question of how tacit ability or intuition can form
part of a reasoned methodology of practice is absolutely crucial and I
don't think we have to apologise for not having easy answers. I've
mentioned before that I'm aware of some writing that will help to unpick
a part of this problem and it's wending its way through the PhD
examination process right now so I'll say no more but I will be making
sure that it is circulated when it is available.
