Hi Alice and all members of the phd list,
I have a terrible blog related to social responsibility in design and
some of my painful process right at the beginning of my phd a couple
of years ago.
I guess I only update this list in this blog. It is a list that
contains people working with very different approaches to social
responsibility in design.

I remember sending a very similar email to Alice's at the beginning of
my phd research. Some links come from the replies I received. I did
receive good replies and made a record of them to be accessed by
others ( which can be accessed from email archives of the phd list).
The importance of sharing our work was very recently mentioned in the
list by Chris too. And I am so glad to have done my homework :)
I am sure there are tons of links, work and people that should be
added. This link grew like a scrap book, not even a scrap book, with
no editing at all that is why it is not the best source to be referred.
Please let me know similar links. I will add them right away before
the discussion fades away. They will be useful when similar inquiry
requests come up. And also, if you have suggestions about how I can
organize and manage my list, I would like to work on it accordingly.
Maybe it should be left to its own pattern of grow and be edited by
whoever accesses to it with different questions in mind...I am not
sure about that either.
I hope the list gives an idea about the broad concerns of the
designers and design researchers to society today.
Greetings from Sheffield.
