I actually *agree* with you, Daniela, in that we're quite lucky to
have a Graeme here. I shall endeavor to give you some useful links
however:
In any case: HammerCloud *only* does User Analysis. There is no
Production in it at all.
The Point of HammerCloud (or, officially "The ATLAS Distributed User
Analysis Stress Tests", I believe) is purely to see what effect
"typical" user analysis would have on sites that support ATLAS.
(As far as it goes, that much was mentioned in at least one of the
TB-SUPPORT monthly meetings, sometime in December or November last
year.)
The documentation for HammerCloud stuff should be here:
https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/Atlas/AtlasDistributedComputing
but the relevant link (down the bottom) doesn't appear to exist. So,
yes, that's a bit nebulous.
However, there was a talk given by Dan van der Ster at CHEP which
covers the theme:
http://indico.cern.ch/contributionDisplay.py?contribId=141&sessionId=63&confId=35523
(You may have missed it, since it doesn't have "HammerCloud" in the title.)
If you want to know more about GangaRobot, then Johannes Elmsheuser
gave a talk about that at CHEP, too:
http://indico.cern.ch/contributionDisplay.py?contribId=265&sessionId=63&confId=35523
There's nothing I've gotten from Graeme that isn't covered in those talks.
HTH,
Sam
