I'll buy that, a good manager with a fresh perspective is a great asset.
I suspect that working at Boeing was a much better preparation than
inventing Apple.
Incidentally Sinclair was not ahead of his time, he was just cheap - cut
corners, thought that because enthusiasts would buy odd-looking
unreliable computers, ordinary consumers would buy odd-looking
unreliable vehicles
