Lecturer / Senior Lecturer / Reader in Digital Media Production
Lecturer £31,514 – £35,469; Senior Lecturer £36,533 – 44,931; Reader
£46,278 – £53,650 per annum
Required, as part of a team, to provide undergraduate and postgraduate
teaching in the Division of Media and Communication, particularly on
the BA Advertising and Media and MA Media Cultures programmes. This
post reflects both the growth in undergraduate recruitment to media
programmes and the further development of postgraduate provision and
the research profile in media studies
You must have a PhD and/or equivalent postgraduate/professional
qualification/experience, together with expertise in film and
television or other screen based media production. Expertise in sound
recording and production or theories of screen based media and/or
advertising would be an advantage. You will be research active and
contribute to the School’s research in media studies
Applicants who are able to demonstrate international achievement in
research, a high professional standing in the field, and who are able
to make a significant contribution to the leadership and development
of research and consultancy within the School, may request to be
considered for the title of Reader.
