UKDFD said "The measure of success of a database is not its conformance
to data standards, but the ease and speed with which information can be
retrieved."
This is obvious but could I highlight that if a database conforms to
data standards then the ease and speed of the user to retrieve
information is increased! For instance if a database has an underlying
thesauri of terms then the user has options to choose rather than
relying on a keyword which may not be applied to the dataset.

Gary

many thanks Peter... you might be lucky... though I can't imagine too
many detecting finds from near Bristol City.. but you never know!
format is XML
yes there are images for every find
the agreement is to public NGRs
frequency is based on you popping in from time to time and see what has
appeared in your area since last time.. so constant rolling... in a
way it would be up to you.
