"The Department of Geological Engineering of the Middle East Technical
University invites applications for tenure-track positions at the Assistant
Professor level, however exceptional candidates at higher levels may also
apply. Candidates at the Assistant Professor level would have a PhD degree
in the specific field of Mineral Deposits, preferably from a university in
USA or Europe. The candidates must possess a distinguished record of
research accomplishments and publications, and a demonstrated ability to
mentor graduate students and develop an innovative research and educational
program. Successful candidates will be expected to develop collaboration
with mineral exploration and mining companies and attract external funding
for research program, as well as teach undergraduate and graduate courses in
geological science and engineering.
