Dear colleagues,
A friend haematologist blames aspirin as being responsible for temporary
thrombocytopenia in a female patient. I have checked PUBMED and noted (to
my surprise) that this scenario has indeed been reported though not very
often. Would any of you suggest a diagnostic algorithm to rule in/out
aspirin as causing thrombocytopenia?
Thank you very much for your advice.
Best regards,
Mike
