Hi everyone,
I received a call from a dermatologist asking about an alternative way in
assessing liver damage in psoriatic patient who is on methotrexate since 2007
instead of doing liver biopsy. I read about the use of amino terminal type III
procollagen peptide (P3NP) and Serum Alpha Glutathione-S-Transferase as a
Biomarkers of Methotrexate-Induced Hepatotoxicity. Does anyone have
experience with these tests? If so please send me the name of the places
that can do them and the evidence of the use.
Thank you.
Warm regards,
Asila Al-Musheifri
