A 53 year-old woman was seen by the Oncology Department of the Hospital.
Clinical information on the request form was 'Breast cancer on tamoxifen. No
periods for more than a year. ? Menopausal'.
Serum results were as follows:
FSH 5.0 U/L (Follicular 2.5 - 10.2)
LH 1.3 U/L (Follicular 1.9 - 12.5)
Oestradiol 65 pmol/L
