SINGAPORE CLINICAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE
The Singapore Clinical Research Institute (SCRI) is a national
organization funded by the National Medical Research Council which
provides core infrastructure to support clinical research in Singapore.
This is done by providing expert methodology, project management, IT and
statistical support to enable clinical trials, epidemiological studies and
systematic reviews to be conducted to international standards.

The role:
You will interact with clinical personnel, study coordinators, other
statisticians and fellow colleagues and be responsible for providing
expertise for the design, conduct and analysis of observational studies,
systematic reviews and meta-analyses. Your role will include:
Writing statistical analysis plans, scientific reports and collaborative
papers and interpreting of analyses to clinical collaborators
Conducting methodology consultation clinics at hospitals
Undertaking some teaching responsibilities
Developing & executing a competent statistical analysis plan on clinical
research data
Requirements:
Basic degree in Statistics/Mathematics/Clinical Science/Biological Science
Masters level or higher training/experience in biostatistics,
epidemiology, public health, biological science or quantitative methods
Experience with analyzing large datasets & clinical databases will be a
distinct advantage
Candidates with advanced training/experience but without the dual
quantitative-biomedical training/experience are also encouraged to apply
Proficient in the use of at least one major statistical analysis package,
preferably SAS, SPSS, Stata or S-Plus/R and MS Office applications
A self-motivated and independent worker and at the same time a good team
player
Strong interpersonal skills, with excellent command of written and verbal
English
