I would like to bring to your attention, the 3rd EMMA workshop which will be held next week in London.
Apologies that I did not forward this to you all earlier - an oversight.
The EU funded EMMA project (Embedded Middleware for Mobility Applications) will be hosting a free workshop in London on the 17th February 2009, at the Rubens Hotel. The project will present key elements of its research on integrating wireless sensors in vehicles and also for road to vehicle communications. This will also include a demonstration of the wireless communications and sensors through a system integrated by TRW Conekt and Newcastle University.
As part of the projects on-going outreach activities, the workshop will also have presentations from several major European funded projects in the area of wireless communications, embedded systems and sensors. This is an opportunity to meet with key European partners and explore opportunities for new projects for potential funding under the EU's 7th Framework Research Programme.
