Carlos and Gunnar,
There is an entertaining talk by Ross Lovegrove on the TED site related to
biomimicry:
http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/ross_lovegrove_shares_organic_designs.html
and one on the same site by Janine Benyus:
http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/janine_benyus_shares_nature_s_designs.html
I think there is a specialty at Milan Polytechnic in the Industrial/Product
design biomimicry area.
