Towards a Truly Inclusive Digital Economy
City University,
Northampton Suite,
Northampton Square,
London EC1V 0HB
The Inclusive Digital Economy Network is comprised of leading
researchers in the UK. With funding from the Engineering and Physical
Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), the goal of the Network is to
identify challenges of older and disabled people within the Digital
Economy and to outline research needed to address these challenges.
On March 6th, the Network will be holding a meeting at City University
to present the groundwork for long-term research into digital access
methods. Representatives from government, industry, academia and
charities willbe discussing challenges they see in creating a truly
inclusive Digital Economy. The meeting will feature Keynote speakers
considering Digital Inclusion from both policy and research
perspectives. Findings from the Network will be presented both in
traditional presentations and in the form of an interactive theatre
event. A panel of experts from industry, charities, and academia will
share their considerations on the biggest challenge for digital
inclusion.
