MEETING: 16-17 April 2009: medical statistics celebration
We are delighted to invite you to join us to celebrate 40 years of the
MSc
Medical Statistics at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical
Medicine.
We are holding a 2-day meeting on Thursday 16th and Friday 17th
April, 2009, at the School. The programme features
sessions on clinical trials, risk and causal inference;
keynote speakers include Scott Zeger, Stuart Pocock,

We are also delighted that Peter Armitage, who started the MSc, plans
to attend.
Over 200 former students, staff and other colleagues have already

Some good news: the early bird rate of £50 for
LSHTM almuni, current & former LSHTM staff
has been extended to the end of February.
The cost for "others" is still £100. This includes lunch on both days
and the evening celebration on Thursday 16th April.
