Hi
Thanks to all those who replied, for sharing your knowledge about
macroprolactin.
I knew my colleague (Dr W. Schneider) worked a lot on macroprolactin (we
used to send our specimen to his lab at the MGH)
He is here at Sacré-Coeur now. We have the expertise for macroprolactin
testing right here!
I posted the question to the listserv, looking for an eventual automated
method (newly available?!), but all responses from the mailbase
point out that the only valid method is the PEG precipitation before
analysis. This off-line manipulation is deemed labour intensive in a
limited ressource environment. It's implementation is on a hold at the
moment.
Best regards
Rose
