I wonder if anyone can help me find the evidence on this?
As you may know the Summary Care Record is being rolled out, and what
fewer people are aware of is that detailed record sharing is also now
becoming a reality with many hospitals and community organisations
implementing this via TPP SystmOne and EMISWeb. We have also heard
president Obama proclaiming the efficiency and safety benefits. The
argument however seems to be "it's obvious, it must be a good idea".
The recent discussion on common sense on this list made me wonder if
it really is a good idea, and my simple searches to date have found no
evidence to support the view! Anyone know of any evidence, or how I
might find it?
Many thanks
Geoff
